Swiss Project for Business Recovery in Aceh and North Sumatra (SPAN)

SPAN provides comprehensive support for the recovery of existing and the start up of new micro, small and medium sized businesses in the affected areas of Aceh and North Sumatra. The main objective is:

"Re-creation of jobs and non-financial services to micro, small and medium sized enterprises"

The project in jointly financed by Swiss Solidarity, The Swiss Secretary for Economic Affairs (SECO), Chevron and Swisscontact. The Project period from July 2005 until December 2009.
